Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking an experienced Automation/Controls Engineer to develop high-quality applications and to design and implement testable, scalable control software for complex automated systems.

Key responsibilities include programming Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs, FANUC robot programs for 6-axis systems, and integrating two FANUC robots into medical device assembly equipment, plus cross-disciplinary collaboration during integration.

Qualifications

5–7+ years of Automation / Controls Engineering experience.
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC Programming – REQUIRED.
FANUC Robot Programming – REQUIRED.
Experience with FANUC 6-axis robots.
Experience with FANUC ROBOGUIDE.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot FANUC robot programs for 6-axis robotic systems.
Program and integrate two FANUC robots into automated medical device assembly equipment.
Support complete machine build, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams during machine integration.
