Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support the Foundry Lab/Admin facilities in Indiana and Lebanon. The role focuses on DeltaV/Rockwell PLC‑controlled equipment, recipe management, and integration with analytical systems to ensure GMP‑compliant operations.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, project onboarding, and mentorship. Initial location is Parkwood West Carmel, with permanent placement at Lilly Medicines Foundry in Lebanon, IN.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Engineering or relevant scientific discipline.
• 3+ years in Automation Engineering, preferably in Pharma manufacturing.
• Experience supporting or deploying PLC/SCADA‑based control systems.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership across the automation team.
• Lead integration from analytical systems into DeltaV/Rockwell and recipe setup.
• Mentor Engineer‑level staff and support PLC systems.
