Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Automation Engineering Department at Eli Lilly, Foundry, with initial operations at Parkwood West, Indianapolis, and permanent location at the Lilly Medicines Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana. You will support automation, control systems, and validation efforts across GMP operations.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering with 2+ years in automation, hands-on experience with DeltaV and Rockwell PLCs, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 2+ years in automation or manufacturing.
Authorized to work in the United States; Lilly will not sponsor visas.
Experience with DeltaV, Rockwell PLCs and MES systems is preferred.
GMP knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.

Responsibilities

Provide automation support for operating areas and capital projects.
Collaborate to deliver robust control systems and instrumentation.
Attend design reviews, FATs, and validation activities.
Support site control system validation and lifecycle management.
On-call support for operations as needed.
