Job summary

Southern Recruiting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer in Houston to translate specifications into control panel drawings, BOMs, and control strategies. You will design PLC/DCS architectures, develop HMI screens, and participate in FAT testing of systems for critical processes.

The ideal candidate holds a BSEE with 10+ years of experience, is proficient with Rockwell, Emerson, and Invensys platforms, and has ISA/IEC/NFPA safety knowledge. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Requires BSEE and 10+ years in control system experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISA, IEC, NFPA safety guidelines.
• Certifications: TUV and ISA 84 for SIS applications (SIL 1-3).
• Experience with PHA, SIF, LOPA.
• Proven Rockwell/Emerson/Invensys integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer specs into BOMs and control drawings.
• Develop control system strategies and PLC/DCS architecture.
• Develop HMI screens and configurations for OWs/EWS/Historian/Reports.
• Perform FAT of supplied control systems.
• Assist with project estimating and proposal inputs.
• Provide relocation assistance as needed.
