Job summary
Williams is seeking an Engineer Staff - Automation to provide programming, troubleshooting, training, and commissioning for automated compression and process control systems across the enterprise. The role requires strong presentation skills, independence, and team leadership with initiative to craft innovative solutions.
Required: ABET‑accredited Electrical Engineering degree and eight years of experience in natural gas, petrochemical, or related industries; PE license preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET‑accredited college/university; 8+ years in natural gas, petrochemical, or related industry.
- PE license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide programming, troubleshooting, training and commissioning for automated compression and process control systems.
- Lead and collaborate with teams; present technical information clearly.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs; manage project design and automation systems.
- Review management of change plans and coordinate firmware/software testing.
- Support security initiatives and hardware refreshes; ensure compliance and training needs.
