Job summary

SII Group USA is seeking a Senior Industrial Automation Engineer based in Austin, Texas. The role focuses on designing and optimizing advanced automated manufacturing systems in a high-volume electronics production environment. Candidates should have at least 7 years of industrial automation experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and skills in PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and troubleshooting. Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, PCBA, testing).
• MES or Industry 4.0/data integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automated production systems (PLC, HMI, motion control, robotics).
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen‑Bradley / Siemens / Mitsubishi).
• Drive continuous improvement (cycle time, yield, uptime, OEE).
