Zoetis India Capability Center seeks a Sr. Staff Automation Engineer to manage on-site automation infrastructure including BMS, PMS, EMS, PCS, and RLAN IT/OT architecture.

The role emphasizes design standards, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance in a GMP environment. You will lead automation projects from conception to completion, collaborate with maintenance, vendors, and cross-functional teams, and develop training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field is required.
• 7+ years managing automation systems experience in automation engineering, pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

Responsabilidades

• Own and gatekeep standards for new system architecture design and support installation of instrumentation and control systems including building automation, data systems, process control, DCS, and utility PLCs.
• Maintain Automation master plan for the site and manage Automation base.
• Oversee life cycle and change control for all automation systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Provide support to maintenance teams for troubleshooting instruments and control systems.
• Develop training programs for automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Support vendors and consultants with technically sound contracts and ensure delivery per requirements.
• Stay updated on automation tech and standards and apply relevant advancements to operations.
• Interface with users, peers, and management to ensure alignment with local and corporate standards.
• Provide technical expertise during regulatory audits to ensure GMP/cGMP compliance.
• Create, review, and approve SOPs as required.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of automation infrastructure from conception to completion.
• Provide ownership-level support for Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test.
