Job summary

Zoetis seeks an experienced Sr. Engineer- Automation to manage on-site industrial controls systems (BMS, PMS, EMS, PCS) and IT/OT architecture at its Lithia Springs, GA site. You will develop, implement, and maintain instrumentation and control systems aligned with Zoetis standards and GMP/non-GMP requirements.

The role involves leading standards, lifecycle management, vendor coordination, audits, SOPs, and training to support automation across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field; advanced technical degrees a plus.
• 6 years managing automation systems experience in pharma/biotech is required.

Responsibilities

• Gatekeep standards for new system architecture design and support installation of instrumentation and control systems.
• Maintain Automation master plan for the site to manage Automation base.
• Manage life cycle and change control for automation systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Support maintenance teams for troubleshooting instruments and control systems.
• Develop training programs for instrumentation and control systems to enhance skills.
