Job summary

CRB in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead development and field implementation of control systems across large projects, from design through documentation and administration.

You will apply advanced hardware and networks for reliability, improve safety systems, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor in ChemE/ME/EE
• Minimum 15 years experience in a design firm setting
• Knowledge of Control System Application software development methodologies
• ISA Certification or PE preferred

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with clients and external partners.
• Plans and directs work and manages a project budget from a discipline design perspective on large complex projects.
• Supports Project Manager in proposal development, man-hour planning and project scheduling.
• Leads field surveys of existing conditions and supports field reporting.
• Develops construction drawings and specifications for complex projects.
• Mentors junior engineers and guides discipline staff in execution of advanced projects.
