Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Senior Engineer - Automation Engineering to support process automation across site operations and capital projects. You will work with DeltaV DCS, Rockwell PLCs, and related hardware to deliver robust control systems in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities include design, development, commissioning, and qualification activities, with on-call rotation and collaboration with site area leads and integrators. The role emphasizes reliability, documentation, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field required.
2+ years experience in Pharmaceutical or highly regulated environment.
Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, computer system validation.
Available to participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship not provided.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support automation engineering activities from design to startup.
Develop and review functional requirements, design specs, and test specs.
Configure and troubleshoot DeltaV DCS, Rockwell PLCs, and related hardware.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GMP compliance.
Provide ongoing support for commissioning, qualification, and lifecycle management.
