Jabil is seeking an Automation Engineer II in Michigan to design, develop, validate, and support automated manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to deliver solutions that boost safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

The role includes IQ/OQ/PQ validation, equipment commissioning, and hands-on troubleshooting with opportunities to lead multiple automation projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or Automation engineering.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in automation, manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, or related field.
• Experience in automated assembly systems and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validation methodologies.
• Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment and integrated manufacturing systems.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop automated manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and production systems.
• Review and interpret product requirements to develop automation solutions.
• Generate mechanical, electrical, and process documentation including design drawings and manuals.
• Execute equipment validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, robots, vision systems, controls, and equipment.
• Support commissioning, startup, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve process capability and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with external builders and suppliers to ensure design compliance.
• Provide technical training and support to operators and maintenance staff.
