Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions for high-mix, high-volume manufacturing. You will lead PLC programming, robotics integration, and controls architecture, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Quality to boost productivity and quality.

You will drive projects from concept through installation and production handoff, ensuring safety, reliability, and scalability of automated systems across complex production

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field and equivalent experience accepted.
5–7 years designing and supporting industrial automation in manufacturing.
Experience with PLCs, robotics, and equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing.
Program and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and HMIs.
Integrate robotics and motion control into production lines.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deploy automation projects from concept to production.
