Job summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Automation Engineer, Control, to advance automated systems across development and manufacturing environments. You will design, implement, and validate PLC/SCADA solutions, integrate Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, Siemens platforms, and ensure cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with project teams, and support production operations with reliable, scalable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required. Bachelors in Automation, Robotics, CS, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years in automated controls in regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee automated control systems (PLC, SCADA, robotics, vision) across lifecycle.
• Lead validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex automation issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system integration and upgrades.
