Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an established Automation Engineer to administer and advance control systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will design, validate, and support PLC, SCADA, and QA processes across Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens platforms within a cGMP setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; automation/robotics/CS focus preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in automated controls systems within regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff).
• Experience with CSV, validation, and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Systems Management: oversee PLC, Safety PLC, robotics, and data integration.
• Control Systems Development & Validation: design/validate PLC/SCADA solutions for validated environments.
• Technical Problem Resolution & System Integration: diagnose complex issues; support cross-functional teams.
• Data Management & Analytics: manage data collection, historian systems, and dashboards.
• Multi-functional Collaboration: plan with MS Project, prepare SOPs, and support CSV processes.
