Job summary
Strativ Group is supporting a high-growth energy-storage manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area, expanding its Controls Engineering team to scale US production.
You will program and troubleshoot Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs, develop HMI/SCADA systems, commission new equipment, support FAT/SAT and startup, and integrate PLCs with robotics and other automated systems. This role offers relocation support and strong benefits.
Qualifications
- 5+ years commercial experience in controls engineering.
- Expertise in Siemens or Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Able to write PLC code from scratch.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA and automation integration.

I’m supporting a high-growth energy-storage manufacturer as it's looking to double the size of its Controls Engineering department to help scale its US production facility.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Programming and troubleshooting Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Developing HMI/SCADA systems
- Commissioning new production equipment and completing major retrofits
- Supporting FAT, SAT, startup and production ramp
- Integrating PLCs with robotics, vision and other automated systems
What you need:
You should be able to take functional requirements and independently write PLC code from scratch - 5+ years commercial experienced required
Expertise in either Siemens or Rockwell is sufficient, with training available on the other platform.
Depending on your experience, you could support web handling, batching, automated welding or discrete assembly.
