Job summary

IPPolarity is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in test automation within the banking domain. The role is based in Charlotte, NC with hybrid work arrangements and requires 10+ years of hands-on automation experience.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, develop UI and API tests, and integrate CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver. Banking domain expertise is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in test automation/quality engineering.
• Hands-on with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in API testing and REST API automation.
• Experience with BDD/Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Develop UI and API automation test cases.
• Build robust automation using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.
• Analyze test results and collaboration with development teams.
• Participate in test strategy, estimation, and release validation.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
