Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead automation strategies for Access Control features across Digital Key, NFC, BLE, OTA, and Diagnostics. You will drive framework development, validation coverage, and automated reporting across vehicle, mobile, cloud, and embedded platforms.

The role requires 7+ years in automotive test automation, expert Python and CAPL skills, and hands-on experience with CANoe/CANalyzer. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years in Automotive Test Automation, Validation Engineering, or related roles.
• Expert Python and CAPL development skills; strong CAN/CAN-FD, NFC, BLE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks for Access Control features.
• Define automation strategy, roadmap, and best practices for validation scalability.
• Develop automated regression tests using Python, CAPL, and CANoe.
• Own automation infrastructure, HIL setups, test benches, and vehicle/test environments.
• Create automated test reporting, dashboards, and validation metrics for release readiness.
• Plan tests, document procedures, and drive validation through cross-functional teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis across automation frameworks and vehicle systems.
• Mentor engineers and establish automation standards across the organization.
