Job summary

Lucid Motors USA, Inc. is hiring a Senior Controls Engineer for Vehicle Body and Access Systems, onsite at the Phoenix Hub. You will lead embedded software development for body electronics, from requirements through validation, with cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams.

Required 4+ years in automotive control systems, strong MATLAB/Simulink design, and expert C/C++ integration into embedded ECUs. Familiarity with ISO 26262 and CAN tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field is required.
• 4+ years in automotive control systems with advanced control algorithms.
• Expert in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow model-based design.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded ECU integration experience.
• Familiar with ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop control systems for vehicle access control features (lock/unlock, authentication, localization).
• Create requirements and test cases for access control features using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Collaborate with simulation engineers to enhance models for analysis and optimization.
• Integrate features into ECU codebase and assist vehicle testing and calibration.
• Support FMEA for features and develop diagnostic interfaces across ECUs.
• Contribute to end-to-end design of electric vehicle body electronics features.
