We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (AI) to design and deliver intelligent automation frameworks that power mission-critical systems in a high-performance financial technology environment. This is an opportunity to build agentic and LLM-driven solutions from the ground up, while working directly with senior stakeholders in Operations, Risk, and Compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and deploy automation frameworks in Python on AWS
• Break down workflows into micro-services and AI agents
• Build secure, scalable integrations with internal platforms
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs with robust dashboards and alerting
• Implement guardrails and prompt strategies for LLM outputs
• Partner with risk and security teams to ensure governance and compliance
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices
• Evaluate and experiment with new agent frameworks and emerging AI technologies

What You Bring

• 4+ years’ professional software engineering (Python focus), including distributed, event-driven systems on AWS
• 3+ years of production experience with LLM/GenAI solutions (Bedrock, OpenAI, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Jira data models, APIs, and SaaS integration security (OAuth, encryption, key rotation)
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and monitoring frameworks
• Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical teams
• Familiarity with regulated environments (SOC 2, model governance, financial services)

Bonus Points For

• KYC/AML automation or client onboarding projects
• Experience with LangChain, Haystack, or other agent frameworks
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK) and containerization (Kubernetes)
• Background in prime brokerage or capital markets systems
