Job summary

ARM EnerTech Associates, LLC (AETA) seeks a self-driven Sr. Automation Specialist / Electrical Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary projects in the Northeast US.

You will define client needs, develop strategies, prepare proposals, and manage design and permitting of automation, control panels, and related systems. The role requires 10+ years in industrial controls, strong communication, and willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial control systems, PLC/PAC programming, HMIs, VFDs, and SCADA systems.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software.
• Self-starter with strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites, including overnight stays for commissioning and support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple project designs and executions.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals with stakeholders.
• Oversee schedules, subcontractors, and resources for on-time delivery within budget.
• Design industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor drives.
• Prepare and update design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support on-site SAT, startup, and training for PLC/HMI hardware and programming.
