Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Lead Automation & Maintenance Manager to own site-level automation, electrical, and data systems at the Chesterfield R&D site. You will provide technical leadership, design system architectures, and drive data-driven decision making while aligning with Global Workplace Experience standards.

The role is hybrid, engages cross-functional teams, and requires extensive experience in regulated environments with a focus on reliability and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience OR higher degrees with corresponding experience.
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and presenting system data for leadership decisions.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience with electrical, automation, or facility systems in regulated environments.
• Experience providing engineering operations and project support for facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site and network expert for automation, electrical, and data systems and drive improvements.
• Design and implement architecture, integrations, and enhancements for site/enterprise needs.
• Develop data models, dashboards, and analytics to support operations and strategy.
• Lead energy optimization through metering data, analysis, and system improvements.
• Ensure GMP/GLP/GCP compliance and inspection readiness for systems and data.
• Lead cross-functional teams as technical authority for automation and data systems.
