Job summary

Prestige Staffing seeks a Senior Automation & Cybersecurity Engineer in Plano, TX. You will lead automation for alert enrichment, triage, and incident management across major SIEM/SOAR platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Logic Apps, leveraging Python, PowerShell, APIs, and cloud-native tools.

Ideal candidates have 6–9 years in cybersecurity engineering with automation focus, a strong understanding of threat detection and incident response, and excellent collaboration skills for

Qualifications

• 6–9 years in cybersecurity engineering with 3–4 years in automation/SOC/SOAR
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, API integration, and cloud automation in production environments
• Hands-on with enterprise SIEM/SOAR platforms: MS Sentinel, Defender/XDR, Azure Logic Apps
• Strong threat detection, logging, alert tuning, and incident response workflows
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with reliable automation delivery

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation for alert enrichment, triage, response, and incident management across SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Build integrations using Python, PowerShell, APIs, and cloud-native tools with robust error handling and documentation
• Collaborate with detection engineers, incident responders, and analysts to improve detection workflows
• Develop AI-assisted workflows for investigation, enrichment, and decision support with human-in-the-loop controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, mentor teammates, establish automation standards
