Job summary

Emotiv Mobility is seeking an Automation Manager to lead and expand automation across our Kansas City plant. You will drive robotics, PLC programming, and data-driven optimization, enabling safe, high-quality, and productive manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Operations, and IT to deploy scalable automation solutions and Industry 4.0 technologies in a future-ready environment. On-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years in industrial automation and manufacturing systems.
• Hands-on PLC programming, Fanuc robotics, vision systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms, SCADA, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership for automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant automation, controls, and industrial technology initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and performance.
• Develop, implement, and standardize machine controls, PLC programming, and HMI systems.
• Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies including robotics, IIoT, AI, ML, and analytics.
• Oversee SCADA, controls architecture, industrial networks, data integration, and cybersecurity standards.
• Establish, maintain, and improve automation standards, practices, and documentation.
