Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Sr Automation & Controls Supervisor to coordinate engineering functions in the factory, focusing on electrical distribution, instrumentation, MES and digital solutions. You will lead a small maintenance team and drive capital projects to meet safety, reliability and sustainability goals.

The role requires 5+ years in automation/MES with electrical experience, plus experience in supervising technical teams and delivering trainings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, strongly preferred OR 5+ of applicable experience in lieu of a degree
Minimum 5 years' experience with Automation and/or MES engineer with Electrical experience (as Project Engineer, Project Manager or Factory MES-E&A Engineer)
Experience in managing/direct supervision of technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties
Experience on delivering technical trainings
Experience on Project Management, including participation in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team and participation in the start-up of technical equipment(s) and/or production line(s)

Responsibilities

Support building Automation & Controls and electro-mechanical skill capability: Ensures that personnel managing, operating and maintaining equipment and infrastructure are competent to do so safely and efficiently.
Deliver Process Improvements: Have a deep insight of the production processes and strive for improvements in quality, safety or efficiency.
Operate and Maintain: Participates in maintenance strategy, tools and methodologies at site level; ensure safe operation of electrical systems and MES.
Manage Risk and Compliance: Ensure installations meet safety, health, environment and quality standards; maintain documentation and Change Management.
