Job summary

Audubon is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineering Manager in Lake Charles, LA. The role leads a multi-disciplinary team, guiding projects from scope through completion while ensuring adherence to cost and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities include engaging with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; enforcing engineering standards; and coordinating design, procurement, and installation activities across control systems, HMI, and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• ABET-accredited institution is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall development, productivity, and guidance of all team members.
• Interact and communicate effectively with direct reports, team members, clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Set realistic expectations and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Adhere to quality standards and engineering checking procedures.
• Promote and enforce design standards for control systems, PLC/DCS, HMI, and IT.
