Job summary
Audubon Companies is seeking a Control Systems Engineering Specialist to join our Houston, TX team. You will support a manufacturing site in Central Support, ensuring safe and reliable operability of instrumentation assets and systems across projects.
You will lead technical delivery, mentor automation staff, and manage budgets and schedules to meet client specifications. The role requires 5+ years in automation, strong experience with DCS (Honeywell/Emerson/Yokogawa) and PLCs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an automation related role.
- 3-5 years’ experience with various DCS Systems (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa).
- Experience with industrial facility project support.
- Experience with various PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, GE, Siemens).
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field preferred.
- Large project or team lead experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects or project portions with technical delivery responsibility.
- Manage budgets, scope, schedule, change management, and purchase orders.
- Oversee effort of other automation specialists and mentor junior staff.
- Provide technology consulting with business development meetings and proposals.
- Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
- Interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulations.
