Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join the capital projects team in Metairie, LA. You will oversee instrumentation and control systems across multiple projects, interfacing with maintenance crafts, operators, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 3+ years in process automation and familiarity with control systems, safety reviews, and documentation such as P&IDs.

Qualifications

3+ years of related experience in process automation, controls and instrumentation at a manufacturing facility.
Degree in Engineering (MS or BS) in Chemical, Electrical, Control or Mechanical engineering or related field.
Knowledge of safety reviews (PHA, HEMP-LOPA etc.) with participation.

Responsibilities

Focal point for instrumentation and control systems for assigned capital project portfolio.
Work with vendors and contractors to deliver quality projects.
Develop complex loop operations and associated documentation.
Perform assurance activities for all phases of project process impacting control systems and instrumentation.
Process Control Domain Integrity (PCD-I): awareness of dangers and risks in the domain.
