Job summary

MRINetwork client in Spokane, WA is seeking a Sr. Automation Controls Engineer for a pharmaceutical CDMO environment. The role focuses on providing OT controls support for new aseptic lines, with a strong emphasis on Rockwell PLCs, RSLogix, and HMI systems.

Relocation assistance is offered, and H1B transfer is available for permanent hire. Salary ranges from $125K to $165K plus an annual bonus (target 10%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of Controls systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on programming experience with PLC/HMI.
• Pharma industry experience in GMP & FDA environments.
• Experience with GAMP5 – Data Integrity.
• Experience with some project management skills, methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for Spokane OT equipment controls systems.
• Support OT controls projects including facility and utility expansion, compliance upgrades, and cost reduction.
• Train Maintenance controls technicians in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support manufacturing teams with process development and recipe maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (local, state, federal, international).
• Develop specifications and RFQs for A&E firms or vendors.
