Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Automation & Controls Engineer for food & beverage projects in Atlanta.

You will lead design and execution of automation deliverables, including PLC/HMI programming and MES integration, across front-end, detailed design, and startup phases. The role requires coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, strong engineering judgment, and travel to client sites for commissioning.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in engineering and FE exam with 7+ years electrical engineering experience.
• EPC project and Automation experience preferred.
• Master's degree is a plus, PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls design for EPC projects from front-end to startup.
• Manage a team of engineers, specialists, and designers.
• Interface with project team and clients across disciplines.
• Develop and deliver PLC/HMI programming, batch, MES, and SCADA solutions.
• Lead FATs, vendor engagement, and electrical design deliverables.
• Travel to job sites for installation support and startup (~30%).
• Prepare estimates and support project budgets.
