Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain manufacturing automation and control systems across the plant. You will own PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and data collection, and partner with Operations Engineering to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

You will lead capital projects, develop dashboards, and support process analytics and continuous improvement initiatives to boost manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a relevant field (Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechatronics)
• 3-7+ years of manufacturing controls and automation experience
• Experience leading automation or capital projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs and control systems.
• Support and improve HMI and SCADA applications.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and controls-related issues.
• Develop and enforce controls standards across manufacturing equipment.
• Lead controls-related capital projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
