Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, build, program, test, and debug automated process machines in the Painted Post, NY facility. You will implement Rockwell-based control systems and ensure safety compliance for Corning’s ceramic and glass manufacturing lines.

You will work in a cross-functional team across Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, delivering solutions on time and within budget while supporting ISO 13849 safety standards and MES data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related with control systems experience.
• 3+ years engineering experience in controls, electrical design, and machines.
• Experience with safety systems, PLCs, HMIs, and Rockwell environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot production equipment in finishing areas.
• Program, test, and debug automated process machines and material handling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance for improvements.
