Job summary

Henkel United States, Geneva, NY, is seeking a Lead Application Engineer for Flexible Packaging within our Consumer Brands Engineering team. You will lead electrical and sustainability projects and ensure compliance with safety standards on the factory floor.

You’ll develop and implement control systems, PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA solutions, create electrical schematics and specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems into manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Controls or related field required.
• 0-3 years PLC programming, HMI design and SCADA experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and sustainability projects while ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement control systems, including PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA solutions.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, control system diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and control systems into manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Provide site support, technical guidance, and training to production teams.
