Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist at Modular Mission Critical near Richmond, VA. You will lead development, testing, startup, and commissioning of BMS/EPMS/SCADA systems and related interconnections across multi-system projects.

Travel to customer sites is expected; candidates should demonstrate strong electrical/mechanical distribution knowledge and IT networking skills for secure, interoperable deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS, BMS, Industrial instrumentation and/or SCADA systems.
• 10+ years of experience with a High School Diploma; 8+ years with an Associate's.
• Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of complex BMS, EPMS and SCADA systems, focusing on advanced configurable integrations.
• Perform basic TCP/IP configuration.
• Configure communication devices and troubleshoot communication link failure.
• Configure Modbus Gateway devices and troubleshooting applications like Modscan.
