Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the Business Configuration Automation team. You will design, develop, and enhance software applications that support accurate reporting and configuration activities, helping streamline enrollment and claims processes.

The role requires 5+ years of IT experience, strong UNIX/Windows knowledge, and hands-on experience with VBA, PowerShell, SQL, Oracle, and modern development tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• 4-5 years in a computer-related support role required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with UNIX and/or Windows OS and Internet technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile project and issue tracking tools.
