Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Automation Integration Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent plugins and automations for Moveworks, Serval, and other AI platforms that enhance enterprise workflows.

This senior role blends deep technical skills with strong communication and program leadership as you collaborate with HR, COEs, and IT to gather requirements and drive successful AI agent implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of HR platform integration experience.
3+ years of backend development in Python, Java, or C++.
Strong experience with APIs and integrations.
Understanding REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT authentication.
Knowledge of JSON and XML.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with AI technologies and terminology.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy custom plugins for Moveworks/Serval platforms or other AI platforms.
Collaborate with COEs, HR and IT to gather and validate requirements.
Lead successful implementation of AI agents & integrations with the team and stakeholders.
