Job summary

Lumen is seeking an AutoCAD skilled drafter to support engineering planning and record drawings for floor plans, site plans and AC 1-line drawings. This full-time remote role is based in the USA with a Monday–Friday schedule, potential flexibility for nights or weekends.

You will create initial designs with engineers, maintain the Drawings Library on SharePoint, and ensure accurate 2D/3D blocks, PDFs, and as-built updates across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience in AutoCAD (v2020+).
• AutoCAD proficiency with detail orientation and efficient turnaround.
• Preferred: Telecommunication or Data Center design, Architectural design, Electrical or AC 1-line design, knowledge of mechanical/electrical building systems, GIS/mapping or civil design, AutoCAD Map 3D, and .Net/AutoLISP programming.

Responsibilities

• Create initial designs for new projects with engineers.
• Develop floor plans and site plans; maintain AC 1-line drawings.
• Produce and update 2D & 3D blocks, PDFs, and as-built drawings.
• Manage drawings workflow on SharePoint and maintain the drawings library.
• Provide AutoCAD SME support to planners and engineers.
