Job summary

Courtesy Chevrolet San Diego, part of Courtesy Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Autobody Technician to repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies and frames to factory specs.

You will perform welding, cutting, and metalworking, assess damage, and ensure safety and structural integrity. 5+ years of autobody experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license are required; I‑CAR training is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of autobody/frame repair experience.
• I-CAR training preferred.
• Own tools and reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an autobody repair program or apprenticeship.
• Proficient welding, metalworking, and frame straightening techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and frame alignment using diagnostic tools.
• Repair and realign frames and body components to manufacturer specs.
• Weld, cut, and perform metalworking to restore structure.
• Replace damaged panels, bumpers, and other parts.
• Use computerized measuring systems and alignment tools.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
• Communicate repair timelines with customers and insurers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
