Job summary

Chase Auto Indirect Originations Underwriting is seeking an Auto Underwriter III who can work from home. You will review policy and pricing, support daily underwriting operations, and make timely credit decisions that balance profitability with relationship health.

This role emphasizes swift decisioning, meeting ROE targets, and collaborating across teams. Hours are Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of credit experience, with Auto Finance focus.
• Experience reviewing credit bureau reports.
• Strong knowledge of credit policy, loan documentation, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review credit applications and render the appropriate credit decision within policy requirements.
• Review policy or pricing exceptions and assist in daily operations.
• Structure decisions to maximize profit and enhance relationships.
• Review and approve automobile applications with emphasis on response time and quality.
• Meet or exceed ROE, volume, and conversion targets.
• Initiate sales calls and follow-up in writing when appropriate.
• Provide prompt, accurate responses to internal and external inquiries.
