Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking a skilled Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair tire and automotive services while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to customers and teammates, and actively learn new techniques to stay ahead of evolving automotive technology.

This role also involves mentoring co-workers, maintaining a clean, safe shop, and supporting management with issue awareness and solutions as they arise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of automotive diagnostic/repair experience.
• 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4/Suspension, A5 Brakes).
• 609 certification preferred.
• State inspection license if applicable.
• Valid driver's license and strong customer focus.
• Background check required; availability on days, nights, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment.
• Perform maintenance services and assist lower level technicians as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and coworkers.
• Continually learn new automotive techniques through formal training.
• Maintain organized, safe shop; adhere to policies and environmental rules.
