Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Senior Technician in Mount Pleasant, SC to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a small team. The role features a flat-rate pay model and a path toward ASE certification, with a focus on quality customer care and efficiency.

The candidate should have 3 years of automotive repair experience, ASE certification(s), and a valid driver’s license. Training and growth opportunities are emphasized within Bridgestone’s value-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 3 years of automotive repair experience or completion of relevant program.
• A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 acceptable).
• Valid driver’s license at all times; ability to drive customer vehicles.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and more.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians; mentor junior team members.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within two years.
