Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Greer, SC seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a performance-based pay model with regional variation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension, A/C and engine systems, and mentoring junior techs. ASE certifications are encouraged and training is provided to advance qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and suspension/steering alignment.
• Reading, writing and math skills and ability to communicate technical info to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications in brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive tech through ongoing paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company and bonuses for passing.
