Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations seeks a Senior Automotive Technician in Florence, SC. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a small team to deliver high-quality customer care. Ongoing paid training and opportunities for ASE certifications are provided.

You will train peers, communicate clearly with customers, and stay updated with evolving automotive technology. A valid driver's license and strong mechanical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong brakes and hydraulics skills.
• Experience with steering & suspension systems.
• Ability to diagnose drivability and electrical issues and communicate findings clearly.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications and training.
• Ability to mentor and train other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, steering and A/C.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue and obtain ASE certifications in A1–A8 within two years.
