Job summary

The Garage in Renton is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician at A- or B-Level for their Renton, WA shop. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles in a four-bay, heated shop using Tekmetric for DVI and stay on a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

Base pay is $45-$55/hour plus incentive bonuses, with earning potential up to $150,000+ annually based on performance. The role includes paid training, a solid benefits package, and a collaborative team focused on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• A-Level or B-Level automotive repair capabilities, with the ability to complete assigned repairs independently from start to finish.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and automotive diagnostic skills, including experience diagnosing drivability concerns.
• Experience performing Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and accurately documenting repair findings.
• Demonstrated ability to complete automotive repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and drivability concerns using automotive diagnostic skills and experience.
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs, handling assigned jobs from initial inspection through completion.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric, accurately documenting vehicle conditions, findings, and recommended repairs.
• Independently complete assigned automotive repairs while maintaining quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Perform oil changes, routine maintenance, and general automotive service as needed.
• Troubleshoot automotive issues, identify appropriate repair solutions, and maintain accurate repair documentation.
• Maintain strong productivity while completing assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Keep the work area clean and organized while collaborating with fellow technicians and the shop team to maintain efficient workflow.
