Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Nashville seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while guiding a team to higher customer care and satisfaction. The role offers a flat-rate pay model and a $2,000 sign-on for new teammates, with ongoing paid training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, explaining complex issues to customers, and pursuing ASE certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Brakes and hydraulics, steering and suspension, or alignments experience.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive technology via paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics on technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
