Job summary

T.O. Haas Tire & Auto in Lincoln, NE is looking for a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to MAP standards with efficiency and accuracy.

You’ll join a seasoned staff, with compensation of $70,000–$95,000 per year and a potential sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, and robust health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Performs work outlined on inspection and repair orders with accuracy.
• Performs complex and heavy‑duty repairs.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports concerns.
• Works flexible schedules including Saturdays.
• Follows company policies and values.
