Job summary

T.O. Haas Tire & Auto is hiring General Service Technicians in Lincoln, NE. No prior experience is required; we will teach you the job while you’re paid. The role involves basic automotive services, tire work, and shop upkeep.

Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Opportunity for advancement is available within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation
• Performs oil changes and other basic services
• Uses the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition
• Maintains shop cleanliness
• Drives customers, picks up parts and supplies, using company vehicle
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor
• Works flexible schedules, including Saturdays
• Adheres to company policies and handbook
