Sun Auto Tire & Service in Lincoln, NE seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to MAP standards. You will work with a seasoned team handling multi-point inspections, parts orders, and invoicing, enabling you to focus on high-quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• ASE certifications preferred in lieu of experience.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostics equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 18 years or older; High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Perform work as outlined on inspection and repair orders with accuracy.
• Carry out complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and store staff.
• Document recommendations clearly in the customer file.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain flexible schedule including Saturdays.
