Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking an Advanced Auto Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while supporting a culture of service and growth. You will work with a skilled team dedicated to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes engine performance, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, and preventive maintenance, with opportunities for ASE certification support and career advancement in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair an array of engine concerns.
• Replace worn components such as spark plugs, belts, hoses, and gaskets.
• Perform tune-ups and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect and repair cooling system components (radiators, thermostats, water pumps, hoses).
• Diagnose coolant leaks and overheating concerns.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair steering and suspension systems.
• Perform wheel alignments and related adjustments.
• Evaluate tire wear and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure vehicle stability and proper handling through system diagnosis and repair.
• Diagnose and repair electrical concerns; troubleshoot wiring, relays, fuses, and lighting.
• Utilize diagnostic scanners and testing equipment; interpret codes.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and test performance.
