Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking an Advanced Auto Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles. You will work with a skilled team focused on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key responsibilities include engine, electrical, HVAC, braking, and suspension work, with opportunities for ASE certification support and career growth as you stay updated with evolving automotive technology.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Vocational or technical automotive training preferred.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications with company support.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability for fast-paced shop work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine concerns and related components.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair steering and suspension systems.
• Service and troubleshoot brake systems including ABS/ESC.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and refrigerants.
• Complete accurate vehicle inspections and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
