Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Champlin, MN, is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to dealership standards. You will work on a variety of repairs with a seasoned team and ensure high-quality service within the expected timelines.

The role requires prior automotive experience, ASE certifications or equivalent qualifications, and a valid driver's license. You will follow MAP guidelines and safety procedures while communicating with customers and managers about

Qualifications

• ASE certifications accepted in lieu of experience.
• Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Perform Multi-point Inspections and repairs with accuracy.
• Handle complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Recommend services to keep vehicles running; document in files.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; report concerns.
• Maintain flexible schedule, Monday–Friday.
